    Swedish Bitters from Flora is a liquid dietary supplement composed of bitter herbs and vegetables including angelica root, zedoary, aloe, cinnamon bark, and more. Although supporting gastrointestinal health with bitters has been practiced since the 16th century, it wasn’t widely popularized until Dr. Claus Samst of Sweden refined the formula. Termed “Swedish Bitters,” the formula was revived and published by Herbalist Maria Treben in her work Health Through God’s Pharmacy.

    Swedish Bitters from Flora work to support bile production, which then breaks down the fats we eat. It supports gastrointestinal health and also supports digestion.

    Suggested Usage

    Shake the bottle well before using. Take 5 mL (1 tsp.) in water or herbal tea, 3-4 times daily. Keep refrigerated and use within six weeks of opening.

    • Aqueous extracts of angelica root, zedoary root, cape aloe leaf, manna sap, rhubarb(rheum palmatum) root, senna leaf, myrrh resin, carline thistle root, camphor wood, valerian root, cinnamon bark, cardamom seed, saffron flower.

    Other ingredients: filtered water, citric acid

    Liquid bitters w/alcohol

    I changed from capsules since they are not available. I did not read the warning before on this product about it causing diarrhea and it can be a problem for me - I hope it is not. Disappointed this was not shown on the capsules or on the product info or I missed it

    Excellent

    At one time I was having trouble digesting food. A natural dr recommended Swedish Bitters 20 minutes before meals. It made all the difference. It took some time, but I can eat fats again.
