Pine Tar Soap for Skin and Hair

It might seem old fashioned but this pine tar soap is as dependable for gently but successfully cleansing and moisturizing skin and hair as it was when it was first formulated back in the 1870s.

Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap is a vegetable based soap with many skin-nourishing properties. Great for bathing, showering, shaving and shampooing.

    About Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap:

    Bill -

    This really works !

I agree with the other reviews. It smells like my fireplace and chimney, but only while using it. The smell dissipates after the shower, not like perfumed soaps. I learned about these products through my dermatologist. I'm re-ordering!

    Macho Man soap

A little goes a long way! Will need to get used to the strong scent. Skin and hair feels pleasantly clean. Moisturizes without the heavy greasy sensation that other commercial detergent soaps leave behind. Highly recommend it.

    Great manly soap

The bar itself smells a bit strong but the scent it leaves after washing is long lasting and subtle. Nice to find something that cleans my beard so well.

    Great man soap

This bar soap is great for any man that does not want fruity or girly smelling soap, especially if he has facial hair. It does wonders on my beard and leaves my skin feeling moisturized all over, even in the dry winter cold. The smell of the actual bar is very strong but on my skin it is subtle and long lasting.

    Strong scent

Pine Tar Soap seems to work well if you can stand the smell. Seems to do the job as far as moisturizing and deodorizing for my husband, but we both agree that the smell is overpowering. We've learned to get used to it, mostly because I bought the stuff so it's going to get used. Leaves your bathroom smelling like strange bacon, haha. His skin just smells clean after rinsing and drying. But the smell of the soap being used or just sitting in the bathroom definitely takes some getting used to.
