    Vitamins D3 and K2 have been extensively studied regarding their roles in calcium metabolism. Research indicates that a synergistic relationship exists between vitamin K2 and vitamin D3, especially in terms of bone strength and cardiovascular health. While vitamin D3 is recognized for its role in calcium absorption and metabolism, it is vitamin K2 that directs calcium to bones rather than joint spaces and arteries. This product is formulated with a clinically relevant dose of MK-7, a unique, soy-free form of vitamin K2 that has been shown to promote healthy vascular structures.

    Just Right

    I like this combination. I wanted K-2 the MK7 version and some D3. I didn't want to go overboard on D3 with anything greater than 5000 IUs. But I also wanted a certain amount of this long lasting K-2 to make a difference, I think, based on research. Definitely wanted more than 100. I think 180 was the just right amount. It's just been a couple months since I looked at all that info online. Research for yourself.

    Protocol Prescribed by Doctors

    I purchased the Protocol supplement K2 MK-7 & D3 from my doctor's office several years ago. Since this brand and specific supplement met my doctors office criteria of quality, I continued purchasing this product when I moved out of state.
