The two vitamins complement one another to help the body absorb and use calcium for healthy bone support. Vitamin K2 helps transport calcium away from the blood vessels by decreasing levels of the inactive form of Matrix Gla-Proteins (MGPs). Active MGPs bind calcium in the blood and support healthy calcium deposition in bones.
