#GMOchat Wrap-Up: Highlights & Resources

GMOchat

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our #GMOchat on Twitter on January 29. You helped make it a success! Especially big thanks go out to our guest experts Michael Belkin of The Refusers and Garden of Life. Thank you so much for sharing your views with us!

As promised, embedded into this post is a transcript of the chat. At the top of the feed, you’ll find the most recent tweets made using the hashtag GMOchat. Please note that though our chat ended, the conversation is still going, and the hashtag is still in use by a number of different Twitter users. This means new tweets not directly connected to our chat will show at the top.

While the majority of users who participated in the chat supported the labeling and/or avoiding of GMO products, our chat did catch the attention of some GMO supporters. It’s a complicated issue and there are many different thoughts, opinions, and studies.

Here are some of the highlights from the chat:

We want Natural Healthy Concepts customers and followers to be educated and conscious of their health. On this post you’ll find various links that were shared during the chat from both sides of the issue. We hope you’ll visit them and even do a little research on your own about the possible risks of GMOs. Information is power. Use that power to make the best decision for your personal health – after all, it’s the best investment you’ll ever make!  And remember to check out the great work The Refusers and Garden of Life are doing!
