Pylori-Plex by Douglas Labs is an herbal gastrointestinal support blend featuring mastic gum, which may assist the body's ability to balance H. Pylori bacteria. It also contains herbs long used for their possible gut-soothing properties.
About Pylori-Plex
H. Pylori is a bacteria commonly found in the gastrointestinal tract. If the immune system is compromised an imbalance of H. Pylori can occur, which may lead toissues in the gastrointestinal tract and may contribute to the formation of ulcers.
This supplement contains the following to support gastrointestinal health:
- Mastic Gum - A resin from the Pistacia lentiscus tree, long used as a food and botanical medicine to support digestive health. May help support normal bacterial balance.
- Licorice root (deglycyrrhizinated) - traditionally used to help soothe digestion, may help reduce gastric irritation.
- Marshmallow root - a demulcent (moistening) herb which may help support healthy intestinal lining.
- Slippery Elm - another demulcent herb, traditionally used to help soothe digestion.
This supplement contains NO: Yeast, sugar, gluten, wheat, corn, starch, milk or dairy, soy protein, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Suggested Use for Pylori-Plex
Adults may take: 2 capsules per day, with meals, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
