Lidtke combines its L-tryptophan and GABA with taurine and magnesium to make Slumber-EZ. These ingredients give you the orthomolecular nutrition that you need in the proper amounts to encourage restful sleep naturally. L-tryptophan, a precursor to serotonin, is often used alone to promote healthy sleep and mood. GABA, a "downer" neurotransmitter, regulates many sedative actions in the brain. This formula also includes taurine as magnesium taurinate (a chelated form that is better absorbed), which promotes restful sleep.
