As "coenzyme" forms, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are the forms required by certain B12-dependent enzymes and reactions within the body. Vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis.

    An excellent source of B12.

I am 75 and my husband is now 80. We both chew one of these each day. Chewing increases absorption. It came highly recommended by our functional medicine doctor.

    An excellent B12 supplement

As a senior, my nutritionist recommended this particular form of B12 some years back and I have been using it ever since. Now my husband takes it as well. I like that it is chewable and thus better at absorption.
