    Helps with Mood Stability

    I am not bipolar, but I do have a history of PMS and periodic ""meltdowns"" from stress. If I take lithium orotate, I no longer have meltdowns. This is NOT prescription medication (which is lithium carbonate) but is a natural salt usually in our bodies and in healing hot springs, well known for calming and mood stabilization.

    May be good for thyroid function

    I am experimenting with the Lithium Orotate to see if it helps my thyroid assimilate the T3 it needs. Krispin Sullivan found some research to say that at low doses Lithium Orotate may be helpful to people with hypothyroidism. One drawback is that it may contribute to a dry mouth. If you already have dry mouth issues it will only get worse.
