Together, these ingredients act as a barrier and buffer for gastric acid while also soothing the gastrointestinal tract lining.* Multiple clinical trials have shown a natural approach can be safe and efficacious.
When combined with the buffering agents calcium carbonate and trimethylglycine and a unique prickly pear cactus extract, the alginate barrier’s strength and flexibility improves. It also allows us to use less alginate, for a better-tasting tablet (no foamy, chalky, or unpleasant taste!).
Heartburn Soothe‡ uses a prickly pear cactus (Opuntia ficus indica) extract made from the flattened stems, rather than the fruit. Similar to Aloe Vera in action, but without the irritant laxatives, Opuntia ficus indica extract cools and soothes the gastrointestinal tract lining. *

Suggested Usage
