    new version? tablet is coated

    They must have fixed the issue of the tablet dissolving at some point since 2018 -- there appears to be a coating on the tablet and I've had no issues. 5 stars for the only 25mg tab I could find anywhere.

    Beep Boop

    Good alternative to Iodoral

    This brand is so much more affordable than Iodoral and they have the same ingredients. I’ve been using Hakala over Iodoral for years now. The price is just too competitive! Highly recommend!

    Tablets dissolve before you can swallow

    I had been taking the Iodoral iodine tablets prior to buying the LugoTab 25 mg. The Iodoral 50 mg tablets were too hard to swallow (too big), so I bought the 12.5 mg tablet. That meant taking 4 tablets to get 50 mgs total. I decided to try the LugoTab 25 mg, so I would only need to take 2 tablets. They are a smaller size, so they wouldn't be a problem to swallow. However, they don't have a coating on them, so they start dissolving before you can swallow them. They leave a bad taste in my mouth. I'll finish the bottle, but I'm planning to go back to taking the Iodoral 12.5 mg.
