Core Med Science Liposomal Vitamin C Softgels

Core Med Science Liposomal Vitamin C Softgels is a lipid-based dietary supplement of highly bioavailable vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in an essential phospholipid complex (from from non-GMO sunflower oil and lecithin) that provide antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties to support the immune system, a healthy stress response, and collagen formation to prevent premature aging.

If you’re wondering, “What is liposomal vitamin C?,” keep reading to find out how this advanced nutrient delivery system may work better than other vitamin C supplements.

From all of the vitamin C we get naturally from the foods we eat, such as citrus fruits and dark leafy green vegetables, our body only absorbs about 18% of vitamin C into our bloodstream.

Most dietary supplements you can buy in the store are often even worse than this. That’s why some people end up taking too much vitamin C, trying to increase their levels, which can lead to digestive problems. So they end up flushing out most of the vitamin C they try to take in. However, there is a solution! It’s called liposomal vitamin C.

What is Liposomal Vitamin C?

Liposomal formulations increase absorption. The vitamin C in Core Med Science Liposomal Vitamin C Softgels is protected from the harsh environment of the digestive system (such as stomach acid). Encased inside liposomal structures, which are natural microscopic spheres of fat called phospholipids, the vitamin C is thereby more available to your body. (1) That means you can optimize your levels more quickly and more effectively without uncomfortable side effects or digestive issues, such as nausea or diarrhea.

Here are more details about the potential health benefits of Liposomal Vitamin C Softgels.

Supports healthy aging: Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects cells against oxidative damage from environmental toxins, overexposure to UV/UVB rays, and the chronic stress that can cause us to age prematurely.

Supports heart health: Studies show that vitamin C balances overall cholesterol levels and lowers "bad" LDL cholesterol, which is a risk factor for stroke and heart disease. (2)

Supports energy: Vitamin C is required for the making and maintaining of molecules like l-carnitine, which is essential for energy production from fat.

Promotes immunity: Vitamin C supplementation may help reduce the strength and duration of various illnesses, such as the common cold.

Supports healthy-looking skin and strong bones: Vitamin C is used by the body in the development of collagen, which is the protein that holds our skin, connective tissues, muscles, bones, and joints together (like the “glue” of the body).

Stress resilience support: Studies show that supplementing with vitamin C could help reduce stress hormones like cortisol and help with a healthy inflammation response. (3)

DO NOT BUY. I WILL NOT BUY AGAIN.

Gel capsules were stuck together when arrived. Were able to separate after refrigeration. When kept out of refrigeration they are soft and gooey. Dose is 3x/day. Not worth the price. Much better options out there.

    No problems with them

I took these for a while after NutriGold went out of business, but ultimately decided to switch to a food-based vitamin C product.

    Seems like a good product

I bought this for my teenage daughter, who was advised to take vitamin C regularly. She does not like the taste of any of the liquid vitamin C that she's tried, so I thought we'd try this. She says she is okay with taking 3 pills to get her daily dose. I like that it is non-GMO, third party tested, and made in the U.S.

    Was counting on this. Fail.

My order was canceled and money refunded with no explanation after some time. I contacted to ask why and they said it was because I used only the 1st initial of my first name in my address. Would have been nice if they tried to remedy the challenge instead of just canceling order.
