Natural Factors Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL) promotes stomach lining and intestinal wall health and is specially processed to have glycyrrhizin removed.
Licorice root is derived from the Glycyrrhiza glabra plant. And the deglycyrrhizinated (DGL) form of the root does not contain the active ingredient glycyrrhiza, which can produce unpleasant side effects.
Natural Factors DGL helps enhance the integrity of the natural mucus lining of the stomach and intestinal wall by stimulating the protective factors that guard against weaknesses in these linings.
