Founder Ted Dennard, who began beekeeping at age 11, was inspired to elevate honey from simple plastic bears to beautifully crafted bottles, creating a space for honey and bees to be truly appreciated. Since 1999, the company has focused on celebrating bees through pure honey, sustainable packaging, experiential stores, and the Bee Cause Project, a non-profit aimed at bee education.
Ted’s lifelong passion for bees, from working with beekeepers worldwide to teaching in schools, led him back to Georgia, where he combined education and business. Savannah Bee Company continues to spread awareness of bees' vital role, sharing their magic in every bottle of honey.
