The History of Acorelle

Acorelle was founded in 2006 by Régis Lelong. Before creating Acorelle, Lelong had spent 15 years working in the conventional beauty world. Lelong wanted to create an independent brand that was committed to offering customers natural, sustainable, organic beauty products. That conviction led Lelong to create Laboratoire Odysud, a small, independent cosmetics laboratory near Agen, a town in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne department in Southwestern France. The Odysud laboratory is where Acorelle was born.

Lot-et-Garonne’s residents have a deep connection with the land, and this connection is what inspired Acorelle’s commitment to creating natural and organic cosmetic products that respect and pay tribute to the surrounding environment: Acorelle even uses ingredients from that area’s land in some of their products (including plum oil, thermal water, and more). As the brand continues to grow, Acorelle remains committed to the same values it started with: offering sustainable, organic beauty products that protect customers’ health and preserve the environment.
