As a person with Celiac Disease, I really appreciate that this supplement is certified gluten free. My doctor advised me to take this supplement, in general, to help with my multiple health conditions, autoimmune diseases, Lyme disease and other co-infections, but most importantly to help thin out my thick mucous due to an upper respiratory infection. I have an extremely dry mouth due to Sjogren’s and a few of the meds I take, causing my mucous to be extremely thick and difficult to clear out. I can’t seem to kick this infection because I can’t “hack up” the thick mucous. The NAC has helped thin out my mucous, somewhat, and I’m glad it’s helping (somewhat is better than nothing at all). I’m very sensitive to meds and supplements and I’m happy to say that this supplement has caused no negative reactions or side effects.
