Role of Minerals
Our bodies require minerals, which are natural substances found in the earth, for the proper function of cells.
Improper diets, consumption of foods grown in inferior mineral-depleted soil, as well as aging and health problems may cause a deficiency of minerals that can result in biochemical imbalances.
This formula contains such macrominerals as sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium, phosphorous, and magnesium, which your body needs in relatively large quantities.
And it blends these with microminerals, or trace minerals, which are required in very small quantities and include iron, zinc, copper, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, iodine, and fluoride.
Some of the minerals are presented in the chelated form. This is because this form is the most absorbable.
When minerals are consumed with meals, they are naturally bound, or chelated, to proteins in the stomach and then transported through the blood stream and absorbed into the body.
Vitamins and Ipriflavone
This formula also includes vitamin E, a natural preservative with antioxidant properties, as well as Vitamin D, which is essential for absorbing calcium and healthy bones.
Finally, it also contains ipriflavone to further enhance calcium absorption in the bone and stimulate bone formation.
This supplement is presented in a proprietary vegetable concentrated base, with green tea and grape seed extracts, as well as the following concentrated vegetables: broccoli, cabbage, tomato, carrots, spinach and parsley.
