Highly absorbable iron formula
The major function of iron is to combine with protein and copper in the synthesis of hemoglobin. Iron is necessary to manufacture myoglobin, a transporter of oxygen found in muscle tissue, which causes the chemical reactions that initiate muscle contractions. Vitamin C enhances the intestinal absorption of iron.*

Suggested Usage
As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily, with meals.

- iron (as iron glycinate and 50% as iron aspartate) 15 mg
other ingredients: vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water), hypoallergenic plant fiber (cellulose), ascorbyl palmitate

I like this version of iron and vitamin C. It's just enough strength that I can tolerate and not have stomach issues. I usually take one per day, but about 14 days before I donate blood, I take 2 capsules per day with no stomach side effects.

My doctor recommended me pure encapsulation products as they do not include any ""useless"" additives which is great if you do have any allergies. The container could be smaller. When ordering pure encapsulation products in Germany at a pharmacy I received smaller containers compared to the ones I ordered in the U.S.
