    Cod Liver Oil Lemon Flavor from Carlson Labs is a dietary supplement that uses sustainably sourced cod liver oil from wild, cold water fish off the coast of Norway. Each teaspoon of liquid Cod Liver Oil contains 1,100 mg of omega-3s, provides vitamins A and D, as well as EPA and DHA that support a healthy cardiovascular system, a healthy brain, healthy vision, and healthy joints. The same day they are caught, the oil is processed out of the fish, has vitamin E added, then is flushed with nitrogen to disrupt oxidation. Each shipment of oil undergoes testing at an FDA registered lab to identify freshness and potency.

    Omega-3 is a fatty acid that contains eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA.) EPA and DHA are not created in the body, and must be obtained through a healthy diet. These compound support several functions inside the body, including support for cellular development, organ function, healthy-looking skin, hair, and nails, support for cognitive function, and support for healthy eyes. Omega-3s may also help maintain blood cholesterol levels already within the normal range. The vitamin E in this formula provides antioxidants that work with omega-3 to support a healthy body and promote wellness.     Great product!

    Love this product. It tastes like nothing so it is much easier to sneak it into my husband's food. I will definitely be purchasing this oil again.

    GREAT STUFF

    I look forward to taking a teaspoonful of Carlson Cod Liver Oil very morning.
    Skip the Lemon flavored.
    The natural flavor has a much better taste than lemon.
    This is great stuff and really cheap.

    Consistently great product

    My daughter has taken this for many years. It arrives consistently fresh, stays fresh in fridge after opening until we finish it. I recently began taking it, too. We get unflavored and don’t mind the fishy taste. It’s not rancid tasting at all, so I’d rather not have the added ingredients to cover the fresh fish taste. NHC has this less expensive than elsewhere. Product is well padded and packaged and has arrived safely with other glass bottles in same box.

    Good Source of Vitamin D

    My wife has been taking this supplement faithfully for over 8 years because of a low vitamin D level. This cod liver oil supplement was highly recommended by her dietitian. She uses lemon flavor to improve the flavor.

    This is a great product.

    This is awesome. My husband and I used to get cracked fingers in the winter and very dry skin. We started taking this daily, and we do not have any problems with dryness on our hands or our bodies. Lemon flavor with a little OJ taste is great. It is expensive, but we take much less than cod liver pills.

    Dr. Recommended Great Taste Improved Good Cholesterol

    I take 1 tablespoon at bedtime. I've just started my husband on it too after his doctor recommended Statins for his cholesterol, which I as an alternate health writer and researcher know is a very bad idea. This will do the trick.

    Skin tonic

    I was recommended by my dr to take this cod liver oil for the omegas. I did not however know just how great it would be to my skin. I love this cod liver oil and I won't ever stop using it. And to make things even better it tastes absolutely delicious :) sometimes I take just a little more than a tsp because I can't help myself.     Norwegian Cod Liver OIl

    Norwegian Cod liver oil I used had 0% Iron on the label. However the manufacturers have decided not filter iron content. This oil is therefore no longer useful for people with excess iron in blood.
