    Pantethine is a derivative of vitamin B and supports the production of Co-Enzyme A (CoA), which is a molecule that is useful to around 70 metaoblic pathways that support the metabolism of fat, cholesterol, carbohydrates, and amino acids. Normally, vitamin B5 must undergo five steps before it becomes CoA. However, as a result of already being available as pantethine, it is more bioavailable and may provide optimal delivery and use in a healthy body. Pantethine may also provide antioxidant support, and may provide support for a healthy adrenal gland.     Discriminating Reader -

    Cholesterol & Blood Sugar Control

    I first heard about this supplement from the writings of the much-maligned but brilliant Dr. Robert Atkins, who has since passed away. Confirmed by lab work, my total chol, triglcerides, & LDL all dropped like a rock. My blood sugar dropped significantly, as well. Unfortunately, my low HDL remained unchanged, although I understand this is not the case for most. I accomplished these changes with a dose of 450mg (1 pill) per day which is half of the clinical study dosage. Thus far, Jarrow has the most competitively priced supplement on the market that contains the high dosage that is needed to effect change. I would highly recommend this supplement.
