    Lemons are a symbol of cleanliness and purity with documented use dating back to 800 BC. Famed explorers like Columbus and Vasco DeGama carried lemons and other citrus fruits with them during their arduous sea voyages.

    Lemons have long been valued for more than lemonade. We know that ancient Egyptians prized this oil for its purported ability to act as an antidote to fish and meat poisoning. And, like lime, it was a staple on 17th century Royal Navy ships to help prevent scurvy. Today, we know lemon can help contain and treat infectious diseases, especially colds and fevers. Its scent also helps to increase concentration, and neutralizes unpleasant odors. Some hospitals use lemon oil to help calm frightened or depressed patients. It also boosts the immune system by stimulating production of white and red blood cells. Lemon oil is a must for every aromatherapy kit.

    Suggested Usage

    For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.

    Natural essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care.

    Kitchen Air Spray

    Lemon makes a great Kitchen spray and wipe. I will sonetimes combine Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Lavender, or Lime along with it for added benefits

    I use this Lemon oil in my Thieves recipe, It helps protect my immune system from any illness that's floating around the offices at work.     Refreshing aroma

    I love the fragrance of this lemon oil. I use it to wipe out my microwave oven and my husband's lunch box. I also diffuse it with some peppermint oil. It gives everything a fresh smell.
