Fast and Easy to Use.
Simply hold the test in-stream or dip it in your urine sample for 1-2 seconds. After 40 seconds, the color on the strip reveals your ketone measurement that can be compared to the color chart on the label, with a darker purple result meaning more ketones are present. Directions:
1. Hold a reagent portion of the test strip in urine stream for 1-2 seconds OR immerse test strip in a sample of fresh urine for approximately 1-2 seconds.
2. Gently wipe the test strip with a paper towel (or other clean absorbent material) to remove excess urine OR wipe the excess urine off the test strip using the rim of a specimen container.
3. For the most accurate reading, wait approximately 40 seconds and compare your results with the color chart on the bottle. Results read (2) two minutes or more after the test strip has come into contact with urine may not be accurate.
