Acure Dry Shampoo Organic
If you're dark haired do not buy this. It shows just like baby powder...also I'm not sure how effective it is.<br>It's my first experience w dry shampoos, but i somehow expected more. Maybe the ones that cost more would work better? Not sure.
I usually don't have good experience using dry shampoo so I don't have high expectation for this one. Some dry shampoos will make my hair look even more sticky and add an odd smell. This one is simply natural powder, free of fragrance. It's definitely not the most effective one but I like it anyway.
I'm a big dry shampoo user, and I was looking for a brand that was more natural than the aerosol ones I had been using. I love the ingredients in this; it's exactly what I was looking for. The smell is very faint but nice (you can especially smell the cocoa when washing your hair and it's divine). I'm very happy with it and have repurchased many times. It does as good a job at refreshing my hair as any other dry shampoo I've tried. However, due to the powder nature, it is a bit more messy and time-consuming to apply. I'm happy to trade a bit of convenience for a natural dry shampoo that works well, but it's worth a mention. Even though this is a "brunette" dry shampoo, it does still leave a white cast. However, I've found that to be the case with all dry shampoos, so I don't mind too much. I apply the dry shampoo at night and the white color fades by morning. All in all, I'd certainly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a dry shampoo without any harmful ingredients!
I really like this product as I can use it in exactly the areas around my hairline where I need it, and not get it all over the rest of my hair. With Spray dry shampoos it ends of all over, and you need to brush it through all your hair, which reduces shine and gloss. But with this I shake a little onto the counter and then dip my finger in and rub it into the greasy areas around the hairline where the grease hits on day 1 and 2 of no shampooing. It blends right into my dark brown hair, leaves to sticky or chalky residue. Just absorbs the oil and disappears. It has a nice subtle fragrance, that also disappears. Great product!
I really like this powder, I have dark hair but in blends in quickly. The trick is to shake a bit on your palm dip your finger in it and rub it into the greasy areas around your hairline, and then if necessary down the hair shaft. Dry Shampoo sprays give you little control, but with this product you can get it into the greasy roots without getting it all over your hair, which can give your hair a dull look. Smells great, blends in great so you don't see it at all, but absorbs all the hair oil.
