March is National Nutrition Month, a month dedicated to raising public awareness of the important role that healthy eating habits play in fueling a healthy body. It’s what my Mom always tried to teach me: “you have to eat right to feel well”. And it’s true – proper nutrition is the number one key to disease prevention!  I think all of us benefit from continuing to learn all we can about which foods are helpful and which are harmful. The Fooducate Blog has a number of straightforward articles – So You Think You’re Eating Healthy? and Three Reasons to Rethink that Diet Coke.  Our Natural Healthy Concepts Blog has a good article too – Eating for Your Health. If you search the internet, you’ll find lots of nutrition information to help you develop better eating habits and to help you stick to them!

Even with the best of diets, it can still be a challenge to get the complete nutritional support our bodies need. Depletion of the mineral content of our soils has greatly impacted the inherent nutritional value of fruits and vegetables; even if you’re eating a well balanced diet, you may still need to supplement in order to make up for that depletion. Additionally, chemical and pesticide residues on fruits and vegetables add harmful toxins to our foods and bodies. Don’t compromise your healthy nutrition.

That’s why March is a Store-Wide-Sale-On-Supplements Month at Natural Healthy Concepts. This month’s 6NUTRITION coupon will save you 6% on your supplement purchases*. Brands like Sedona Labs and Jarrow are on sale too (make sure you log into your account for the best pricing!).  Best of all, the coupon is good throughout the month AND you can use it as many times as you like!

National Nutrition Month is a good time to focus on taking your eating habits to the next healthy level…and on boosting your nutritional intake with high quality supplements and vitamins. In other words, “Eat right – and take your vitamins!” Now, where have I heard that before? I guess Mom knew what she was talking about all along!
